These styles are lightweight, extremely portable, relatively inexpensive, making them ideal for both outdoor and indoor displays, festivals and trade shows.
Designed to be supported by a single, usually tapered, flexible pole, with a steel stake, either fitted into a base or knocked into soft ground.
For all the design shapes the pole sits to the left.
Fresco
"Fresco" is a new style of portable flag created by Skynasoars in the autumn of 2009, and which has enjoyed wide use from 2010 onwards. With its wider rounded bottom and sharp cusp to the tip, it is immediately recognisable, but graphics have to be created with care and not all designs will suit this shape. We choose "Fresco" when the intended graphic or very ornate, elegant and creatively styled in combination with script fonts.
Using the correct pole, the upper part of the sail is held taut while the lower is allowed to flutter and rotate in the wind. "Fresco" works extremely well, in large numbers, forming an avenue , but can be equally effective as a single unit at an indoor trade event.
Two sizes 2m and 3m. We have used the smaller design, frequently at indoor events, but the taller version comes to its own when sited outdoors, especially in a garden setting.
